Lil Yachty Is The New Face for Alexander Wang’s “Beyond Reality” Campaign

Published

It's been reported that Georgia rapper, Lil Yachty, is now one of the new faces of Alexander Wang's 2017 “Beyond Reality” campaign. According to Wang about the new campaign:

“It's about observing and toying with our society's current obsession with social media. We wanted to propose both real and fabricated narratives in order to create doubt, whether what you see is real or not, or maybe even something in between. The original spark came from scrolling through my own feed; that feeling that makes you stop or second-guess something. I embrace this obsession just as much as anyone else. The fact that the campaign is only released through social media, but is also a commentary on it, blurs the line even more.”

Lil Yachty's presence Wang's campaing comes a few months after the introduction of #WANGSQUAD, featuring artists such as Tyga, ASAP Ferg, and Metro Boomin.

Off-White Is Now The Most Popular Brand In The World

Virgil Abloh's luxury Italian streetwear label Off-White has been named the “hottest fashion brand in the world”.

Over the past year, the brand has gone from strength-to-strength, thanks, in part, to highly-publicized collaborations with Ikea and Nike and Abloh’s appointment as artistic director of household name-brand Louis Vuitton.

Off-White topped a quarterly index compiled by Lyst, a global fashion search platform, by examining Google search data, sales, and social media mentions. Lyst singled out the company as the number one brand among fashion fans today, surpassing established names such as Gucci and Balenciaga.

Abloh's label is a big hit with global celebrities and has been worn by model Bella Hadid, and singers Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Motorola is in hot water: smartphone P30 bears a strong resemblance to Iphone X

Published

There is a new Android phone on the market – the Motorola P30, which would cost you roughly $350. People, however, might easily mistake it for a device that costs three times as much: the $1,000 Apple iPhone X, which was launched last fall.

Photos of the new smartphone were official released on Thursday, and not only do the phones share a lot of design details — a vertical camera, a “notch” on the front of the screen — the promotional images look pretty much the same.

Tech fans and enthusiasts did not waste time and immediately criticized the Levovo-owned phonemaker for copying Apple's design.
