Published

on

Rapper Talib Kweli made an appearance in a new segment of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” on TBS to take on the surveillance state. After an amusing investigation into privacy rights, Kweli joined Ashley Nicole Black to do a revamp of his song “Get By” to talk about encryption and privacy monitoring. Watch the video below. The track starts at the 5:25 mark.

Kweli raps:

Lock your phone with a passcode

Or what you're downloading gets stolen

Basically be the black Edward Snowden …

The N.Y.P.D. put the troll in patrol

They online collecting everything we post from Twitter to Vine (R.I.P.)

Unencrypted apps let 'em have all your data that's private

Like every dick pic that you text to your side chick

Your spy shit, they're trying to take us fifty years back

Fuck your password, get ready for Revenge of the Black Nerds

Off-White Is Now The Most Popular Brand In The World

Published

Virgil Abloh's luxury Italian streetwear label Off-White has been named the “hottest fashion brand in the world”.

Abloh's label is a big hit with global celebrities and has been worn by model Bella Hadid, and singers Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Motorola is in hot water: smartphone P30 bears a strong resemblance to Iphone X

Published

There is a new Android phone on the market – the Motorola P30, which would cost you roughly $350. People, however, might easily mistake it for a device that costs three times as much: the $1,000 Apple iPhone X, which was launched last fall.

Photos of the new smartphone were official released on Thursday, and not only do the phones share a lot of design details — a vertical camera, a “notch” on the front of the screen — the promotional images look pretty much the same.

Tech fans and enthusiasts did not waste time and immediately criticized the Levovo-owned phonemaker for copying Apple's design.
