Five months after the release of “Searching For Daisy”, Slyrex is working on his second project “Iliad”! “Iliad” will have a total of 10 songs, but there is no word on any features. This will be the 2nd installment of a 3 part project series dealing with becoming something great, whether that’s being an athlete, musician, filmmaker, writer, mathematician, lawyer, Doctor, etc. “Searching For Daisy” was part 1, which used the Great Gatsby as a metaphor for trying to get into the industry, and ends with the track “Without Me” where the character has finally got his foot in the door. “Iliad” is part 2, picking up where “Searching For Daisy” left off and chronicling the uphill battle that is attempting to find your place in a highly scrutinized industry, and maintain your personal integrity. The third installment to the three-part series will be released sometime next year!

Slyrex has been making music since the age of 12. His father was really good at piano, eventually Slyrex taught himself how to play the guitar & started writing songs. He fell in love with it, but didn't start putting music online until the age of 18. Presently, at the age of 19, he’s gained quite a bit of a following and wants to be the best artist, not rapper that he can be.
