The Hollywood's biggest event went down Sunday, February 28th, in Los Angeles.

Chris Rock opened the show with a monologue on the #OscarsSoWhite controversy (second year in a row, only white actors and actresses are being nominated for the award).

The 88th Academy Awards show featured performances by the Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, and Dave Grohl.

It was a big night for Leonardo DiCaprio, who finally won his first Oscar! After being nominated 4 times (in 1993, 2005, 2007, and 2014), today he finally got a chance to take his well-deserved award home.
