Whenever a great female lyricist comes into the rap game, every other rapper seems to be compared to her. Nezi Momodu ranks close to Noname in whimsical character, but you could even say she can get a flow going like J. Cole. Her first studio album has an astounding 27 tracks to get to know all of her diverse sounds. In “My Favorite Rappers”, she pays homage to Eminem, Lauryn Hill, and Ludacris as whom she pulls inspiration from. Keep your eyes out for this new artist. Its been a while since we got a project from the Los Angeles-based Singer/Songwriter, Phabo. But tonight, he ends that hiatus with a brand new EP titled, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”. The 6 track effort is something to hold fans over while Phabo‘s upcoming album, “How’s My Driving?“, nears completion. My favorite tracks are, “West Hills“, “My Ex” and “Make It Big“.

Overall, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”, is definitely worth taking a listen to. Especially if you haven’t yet heard of Phabo.
