California's own YG brought the west coast to Chicago’s Metro on May 7th, with him rocking a deniem flannel, high socks and red Nike Cortez’s there was no way he could deny the west, even if he wanted to.

“NIgga im from bompton…  “

The packed venue had fans eager and yet impatient to see YG as the stage crew set up props for his set. At one point while in the pit, I thought I was going to get trampled. Rock Nation'Dj Mustard set a live tone for  the crowd by playing PushaInk's (the label) affliated memebr  TY$ “Paranoid”  as well as Lil Durk's “This Aint What You Want”. Once the all red lights hit the stage you were right outside of YG's porch addressed 400, with DJ Mustard in the window spinning. Yg performed tracks from his current album and of course his 1st hit “Toot It and Boot It“. The crowd reached its peak during “Im 4rm Bompton“, and of course YG's current top charted “My Nigga“. Along with his infamous hood tracks YG danced across stage to west coast legends 2Pac and Eazy E. By the end of the set YG lost his voice but continued with a performance of “Who Do You Love?”.

With the latest rap beef between Cali native Tyga and Chicago's Lil Durk, YG cleared the air on his part, ” I fucks wit Lil Durk!”  said YG An appearance by Chief Keef was said to be made but never happened.

My Krazy Life is a monumental moment in YG's career, with his 1st hit single being released in 2009 this is his 1st album under a major label (Def Jam). I’ve witnessed his journey from the begining and he proves timing is everything. With the right label behind him, personal growth and a loyal team My Krazy Life has been a success. My Krazy Life has peaked at #1 on Billboards, this is YG's time.

Chicago native Taylor Bennett performed tracks “New Attitude” and “Right now” as an opener.  Live performer, just wished his home crowd would have showed more support during his set.

Special thanks to Metro for having me and YG's team for showing love 6 years strong.
