Proving Grounds is the debut mixtape from Marcus P. Marcus P. was raised in Brooklyn and moved to New Jersey when he was 16. The project is a statement to the industry and the hip hop game showcasing his deft lyrical ability and piercing delivery that leaves a lasting impression. Already being compared to Kendrick Lamar, Marcus P has a goal to become the best, bring hip-hop back to its former glory, represent real east coast hip-hop and create great music. He is apart of a talented group of artists and producers under the label Rhyme Republic.

Its been a while since we got a project from the Los Angeles-based Singer/Songwriter, Phabo. But tonight, he ends that hiatus with a brand new EP titled, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”. The 6 track effort is something to hold fans over while Phabo‘s upcoming album, “How’s My Driving?“, nears completion. My favorite tracks are, “West Hills“, “My Ex” and “Make It Big“.

Overall, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”, is definitely worth taking a listen to. Especially if you haven’t yet heard of Phabo.
