Last Monday, July 21st J.Cole stopped in Chicago with his Dreamville team for his genius Dollar & A Dream Tour. Luckily out of the 5k people lined up to witness his greatness I gained access to the 2nd show scheduled at Concord Music Hall. Due to the high demand ( as its been in every city) J.Cole announced a second show for those 18+ due to Chicago's curfew via twitter.

This tour was for the fans, true fans. J.Cole performed tracks form his past project  “The Warm Up”. If you weren't a true J.Cole fan you may have been lost majority of the show. Regardless if you were there for the hype of a dollar show, or Cole himself, the live band and positive vibe was enough for anyone to walk away with a great experience.

The highlight of the night included J.Cole bringing a fan by the name of Iris on stage to performDreams”. Iris completed the hook while Cole spit his verses, along with Iris almost taking over a verse herself.  She herself had the crowd going, and knew every word to the track. After Cole completed his set, returned for a encore to perform his hit singles. The crowd was amazed and I myself will forever be J.Cole fan after such a great experience.

The excitement this tour holds is one of the best ways to keep fans and most importantly making them feel appreciated. I personally have never waited in a line for tickets but this show was somthing worth it, I had to be apart of the entire aspect. 4 Hour Line wait, 2 Hour Show, 1 Dollar Ticket made for a priceless expereince. Well Done J.Cole.
