I am not afraid to admit that I had no idea who Anderson .Paak was prior to 2015, then summertime rolled around and the tracklisting to Dr. Dre's highly anticipated Compton album was released and “Anderson .Paak” appeared in the features more than any other artist that contributed to the project, and this made me curious who he was cause he was the only name featured on the album who I had no idea about. So, I did my research and found out he was Cali native (raised in Oxnard), came across his debut album Venice which seemed to be his only offering under the stage name Anderson .Paak, I also discoverd that .Paak s 1/2 of the group NxWorries.  NxWorries is comprised of .Paak and producer Knxwledge, it was the group's song “Suede” that captured Dr. Dre's attention and later captured .Paak a spot on the roster for the Compton album. Since then, .Paak has gone on to close out the year by also being credited for features on The Game's Documentary 2 & 2.5.

Now, to start off 2016 Anderson .Paak capitalizes on the buzz he created in 2015 with his sophmore effort Malibu, the LP features the likes of The Game, ScHoolboy Q, Rapsody, Talib Kweli, & more! Stream the album below.
