The arrival of A Tribe Called Quest's sixth studio album, We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, comes along with a bittersweet feeling , for most ATCQ fans. The announcement of the album, which served as the first reunion of the legendary rap group in more than a decade, came on the heels of the tragic passing of ATCQ member Phife Dawg, due to complications of diabetes.

However, the album is finally here and we can both celebrate the life of Phife Dawg as well as celebratethe fact that he was alive to partake in this historic reunion. We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service comes in at 16 tracks longs and features the likes of: André 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, and frequent ATCQ collaborators Busta Rhymes and Consequence, amongst many others. Its been a while since we got a project from the Los Angeles-based Singer/Songwriter, Phabo. But tonight, he ends that hiatus with a brand new EP titled, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”. The 6 track effort is something to hold fans over while Phabo‘s upcoming album, “How’s My Driving?“, nears completion. My favorite tracks are, “West Hills“, “My Ex” and “Make It Big“.

Overall, “FREE” ALWAYS COMES WITH “BULLS%!*”, is definitely worth taking a listen to. Especially if you haven’t yet heard of Phabo.
