In what seem to have become a dull flame, the beef between Joey Bada$$ and Troy Ave, the flames were ignited once again last week when Joey Bada$$ released his new single “Ready,” the single was not a diss record however in the last verse Joey did mention Troy Ave's name, rhyming:
“60k first week for the Bada$$, 200k to this day I know you n****s mad, with the 80/20 split my n***a do the math, my n***a Kirk just outsold Troy Ave.”
Now, to multiply to the flame Joey ignited the BSB rapper Troy Ave delivered “Bad Ass,” a diss track taking aim at Joey Bada$$ and his entire Pro Era collective. Holding nothing back, Troy Ave even takes a shot at Pro Era's late member Capital Steez, stating “Don't get suicidal like you friend in the casket, Steez burning in hell.” Stream the diss track below.
