The self-proclaimed “KingDingaLing,” better known as Trick Daddy, made headlines today and it wasn’t for his music.
While riding through the streets of Miami, Trick took to Instagram to address women of color (the black ones, specifically) that they have some serious competition developing from their white and Latina counterparts.
The incoherent rant warns that if black women didn’t get their act together, the consequences could be dire. Or in layman's terms, there wouldn’t be any men around who would want them later down the line because they’ll be taken by other races.
“These Spanish, these white hoes–they just started getting finer than a muthafucuka,” the semi-retired rap star explained to his 325,000 Instagram followers. “Y’all black hoes better tighten up. I’m telling you, tighten up. Y’all doing all that extra shit for nothing. You achieving nothing, bitch. You get y’all ass done, ya titties done; ya paying $150 to get your makeup done just to go to a local club, bitch. Tighten up, hoe. These Spanish and these white hoes getting very spiffy on y’all.”
And just when you thought his ridiculous tirade didn’t go far enough, the 43-year-old Trick decided to pour extra salt into the wound.
“They fuck around and learn how to fry chicken, you [black] hoes is useless.”
Needless to say the backlash on Trick’s post received was swift and severe, mostly from black women who had enough of the played-out stereotype of being lazy and cheap. And while the hate continues to pile on in his mentions, Trick doesn’t show any sign of being phased.
Perhaps the thrill of becoming a social media pariah quenches the dull reality that the rapper hasn’t released any sort of music in almost five years.
Until he does, it may be best for Trick Daddy to follow his own advice and “tighten up” for the time being.
