Todd Zack Jr. – sweetpotatopie.

Todd Zack Jr. is back and ready to give his all for his “sweetpotatopie.” The track serves as the first official single from his upcoming LP, which is scheduled for an April 16th release.  The title of the forthcoming project will be revealed in the weeks coming and will be available on iTunes for FREE ('cause who doesn't like free stuff?).  

Eventually there comes a time in life where a man decides that it is time to put all of his eggs into one basket (or in this case one pan), and Todd Zack Jr. is ready to make this sacrifice all for the sake of savouring the flavor of his favorite recipe, “sweetpotatopie.”  The track is recipe for what constitutes the makings of a perfect sweet potato pie, from the melody just as sweet as the potatoes, to the smooth production that represents the crust that only your grandma could perfect, to the conscious flow of lyrics which tops everything off like whip cream.  This comes as no surpise, considering Todd Zack Jr. has always been an artist who stresses of importance of the quality of the art.

It looks like 2016 is going to be a strong year for R&B, or atleast it is starting out like one.  Only two full months into the year and we've been blessed with Anderson .Paak's Malibu (my personal favorite project of the year, so far), Rihanna's high-anticipated ANTI, and BJ the Chicago Kid's In My Mind.  Judging solely from the first single, I know for a fact that Todd Zack Jr.'s forthcoming project will be another LP we can add to that list.  Stream the track below.
