Rihanna Is Reportedly Working On Two Albums
After a recent appearance on the Graham Norton Show to promote her latest film Ocean’s 8, Rihanna mentioned that new music was coming our way. ‘I am actually in the studio at the moment,’ she told the host when asked about a new album.
But, that’s not all, because the Barbados-born beauty is working on not one but two albums – one pop and one reggae. This won’t be the first time Rihanna has dipped her toe into dancehall and reggae, having explored the tunes on her 2010 single ‘Man Down’ and the 2016’s Anti hit ‘Work’.
‘[Rihanna’s team] have, no lie, 500 records for this project [from] different producers and writers,’ an anonymous dancehall producer told Rolling Stone. ‘They’re only choosing 10 records. They’ve been having writing camps and trying to keep them quiet for almost a year and a half now. I’ve been flying to Miami, flying to L.A., cutting records nonstop for this project.’
We can't wait to listen to what the 30-year-old star has been working on! The albums will most likely drop next year.
