This year's MTV VMAs kicked off August 28th. The 33rd annual Video Music Awards featured the biggest artists in the industry: Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Kanye West, Rihanna, Fifth Harmony just to name a few.
It was definitely a big night for Rihanna as she received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and was scheduled to perform four times during the ceremony. It came as no surprise that the Bajan singer's rumored boo Drake was the one to hand her the award.
Another big highlight of the night was Beyonce's epic 15-minute Lemonade medley that later became the most tweeted about performance of last night.
As promised, Kanye received his four minutes on the VMAs stage. After starting his speech with “I am Kanye West, and that feels especially great to say this year. I came here to present my new video, but before I do that, I'mma talk“, the rapper covered a lot of topics including the Taylor Swift's infamous phone call. Later he introduced the new visual for his track Fade featuring the sexy Teyana Taylor.
