Netflix has released the first look photos for Lupin Season 4, and the gentleman thief is back in a very different position than we left him. The new images confirm Omar Sy's return as Assane Diop, and they arrive with a release date fans have been waiting for.
The first look photos make one thing clear. Assane's time behind bars is about to take a stranger turn than anyone expected, and the imagery leans into that shift rather than hiding it. After the way Part 3 left him, seeing Assane navigate a new set of walls sets up a season with real stakes.
Omar Sy leads again as the suave, disguise-shifting Assane Diop, the role that turned him into a global star and made Lupin one of Netflix's biggest non-English hits. He is joined by a deep returning cast, including Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Theo Christine and Laika Blanc-Francard.
Sy, for his part, still sounds thrilled to be playing him. "I often say that Lupin is an extraordinary plaything," he told Netflix. "I find great joy in it every time."
The heart of the show has never really been the heists. It is Assane, a man weaponizing charm, disguise, and the Arsene Lupin playbook to outmaneuver a system stacked against him. Part 4 puts that to the test in tighter quarters, with the first look photos teasing an imprisonment storyline that promises to twist in ways the trailer-hungry fanbase will pick apart frame by frame.
Lupin Part 4 lands on Netflix worldwide on October 23, 2026. This time the season expands to eight episodes, each running around 45 minutes, giving the story more room to breathe than earlier parts.
