Idris Elba is set to play the villain in The Fast and The Furious spinoff titled Hobbs and Shaw alongside with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
Elba is no stranger to playing villains, he previously appeared as a bad guy in Star Trek Beyond, and voiced Shere Khan in Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book.
Dwayne Johnson took it to social media this morning to welcome Elba to the team. “He's a baaaaaad man,” the Rock tweeted, “Welcoming my dude @idriselba with tattooed and open arms to our #HobbsAndShaw Fast & Furious spin-off movie.”
