Drake is out here making a difference. In the opening credits for God's Plan the rapper announced that all the budget of $996,631.90, which was originally set to produce the visual, was donated to Miami residents.
In the recently released music video the hip hop artist can be seen giving away $50,000 to a women's shelter, $10,000 to UM's School of Music, $20,000 to the Miami Fire Department, and a $50,000 scholarship to a Miami student. Drake also surprised other Miami residents with stacks of cash and took them on shopping sprees – all expenses covered.
The rapper shared on his Instagram page that this was “the most important thing I have done in [his] career”.
