In the sense of Compton, it's starting to feel alot like the 90's again, a whole two decades later.  There's not too many places you can turn nowadays without noticing the Hub City's influence, as it is certainly at the forefront again.  Whether it be watching the city's own Anthony Anderson on Black-ish on wednesday nights on ABC, catching DeMar DeRozan and his Raptors take on the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Playoffs, or catching Serena Williams the world No. 1 ranked females tennis player in a match, or witnessing the various things GRAMMY Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar has his hands in, you cant miss it.

Which brings me to the project at hand, to capitilize on the buzz old school meets new school in this DJ Quik/Problem collaborative effort Rosecrans EP, bridging the gap between the two generations.  The project pays homage to the two artists' hometown baring the name of the most popular street in the city.  Just announced yesterday, the six track EP, which is a result of what turned out to be a remarkable yet random studio session, features the likes of The Game, Badd Lucc, & Wiz Khalifa?.
