Earlier today, Kevin Durant was formally announced as the 2014 NBA Regular Season MVP. That wasn’t the only achievement he dethroned from LeBron James, as Take 2K revealed the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar would be gracing this year’s upcoming NBA 2K15 title. LeBron did helm the cover for consecutive years just like his former MVP Award, but now Durant joins him and the likes of Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant among other legends for the popular series.
