CJ TheFLii shared his “Nice” single which featured LongLiveCarl of Hurt Everybody, back in the Summer, and now the 20-year-old Chicago rapper/producer returns with his highly anticipated Super-Natural project. Though the mixtape holds 8 songs, CJ TheFLii serves us Super-Natural as one track.

Using the elements of nature as the backdrop for Super-Natural, CJ has stated that the electronic/trap-jazz production was an idea that came to fruition throughout the Summer of 2015. CJ and the project’s co-producer Nieklaus began experimenting with making music outdoors in a jungle-like environment as opposed to indoors. 

Super-Natural eventually became a representation of where “the Natural world and the Supernatural world cohabitate through sound, whether it be causes comfort or discomfort.”
